The Great Turning Point examines a pivotal moment in religious and scientific history when the Church's interpretation of geology diverged from emerging scientific understanding. This work explores the theological positions and institutional decisions that shaped the Church's response to geological discoveries, analyzing how doctrinal commitments influenced the acceptance or rejection of new evidence about Earth's age, formation, and natural history. A critical look at the intersection of faith, authority, and scientific progress during a transformative period in both disciplines.
